Spa Therapist & Owner

Rosanna turned her passion into myspa in the summer of 2008. Her dream was to one day have the spa guru’s working with her and that dream has become a reality! She still has to pinch herself that she is a part of such a positive movement with both the myspa team and the people they serve.

Her favourite part of the day is two things; Looking out the window and seeing myspa’s staff cars in the parking lot and knowing she has such a reliable, hardworking, passionate team to work alongside with. It’s an incredible feeling to her. Rosanna also loves seeing YOU! Her clients brighten her day and she loves communicating with them, but most of all seeing their happy faces once they have been plucked and polished.

When Rosanna is not in the treatment room, she can be found still representing myspa loud and proud. You may catch her at the gym, doing yoga, running by the water, hanging out with family and friends and also possibly upside down doing a handstand.

Spa Manager

Franca is myspa’s Manager as of Summer 2019.  Franca has over 10 years of management experience and over 22 years of customer service experience.  Franca is passionate about leading a successful team and supporting her team to excel and be the best version of themselves.  Being a local to Pickering, Franca is an avid supporter of local Durham businesses. 

Franca’s favourite part of her day is seeing myspa client’s happy, spa therapists enjoying their passion and everything running smoothly for all.

In addition to supporting the front desk, you will find Franca busy in the office supporting our social media, preparing for our upcoming events and keeping our spa organized in all aspects.

In Franca’s spare time she loves to create and craft and is a local maker to Durham.  She finds it relaxing to create unique office/home wall prints and event decor.  Supporting local small businesses is very important to Franca and she has met so many local talented makers and small business owners in Durham and is always willing to share their business info with our myspa clients.

Spa Therapist (part-time)

Lindsay has been a Spa Therapist for 17 years!  From the time she graduated from college, she has been working in Durham Region serving YOU.  Her vast product, skin and ingredient expertise expands over many product lines and has earned her a Dermalogica Expert Status.  Lindsay has always had a passion for expanding her knowledge and educating peers in her field.  So in 2014 she was able to attain that goal and became an Esthetics instructor.  Lindsay is a people person, loves to talk, laugh and make clients feel amazing because it makes her a better person. If you run into her in the hallways, she will be sure to give you a big hello! 

When Lindsay is not busy working you can always find her with her husband, friends and family. She loves being at home relaxing, reading & watching TV.

Spa Therapist (full-time)

Cassandra's journey started in 2008 as our co-op student!  Following a diploma in graphic artistry and web design, the love for all things spa was still in the back of her mind.  As a continued regular client at myspa, she was given great feedback and guidance about the industry and was encouraged to go back to school to become a Spa Therapist.  In 2017 she went back to school at Bryan College and received her diploma in the Advanced Spa Therapist program.  When she joined the myspa team after graduation, her artistry and creativity shined bright!  As a Dermalogica Expert her passion lies with all things skin care, knowledge and continuing education.  Cassandra's bubbly personality brings a friendly and easy-to-talk-to nature at myspa. When she isn’t in the treatment room you will find Cassandra with her husband and close family.  She enjoys relaxing while watching TV, playing video games and practicing yoga!

Registered Massage Therapist (part-time)

Betty-Ann is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan Massage School and a 16 year seasoned therapist who practices Swedish, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone massage as well as Reflexology! She is myspa’s only RMT and a great addition to the team. She is always looking out for the team and her clients well being, educating everyone on how to properly take care of their bodies in this fast paced world. Betty-Ann is very interested in learning and implementing all different types of therapeutic body work and will continue to grow and add new therapies to bring to her clients.

Betty Ann’s favourite part of her day is being able to send her clients home with post treatment care, knowing that they are on the right path to properly taking care of their body. When you are in Betty-Ann’s hands, you won’t forget her touch and care.

When Betty-Ann isn’t at myspa you can see her with her wonderful family. Catching a a movie or concert with her kids, Re-organizing her home in some sort of fashion or on a date with her husband. Wherever her family is – she will be there.

Registered Nurse

Jean is a Registered Nurse with 11 years of Nursing experience ranging from Acute Care, Long-Term Care and Medical Aesthetics.  She has found her passion in Cosmetic Nursing and has since worked in the industry for 3 years as a Nurse Consultant specializing in Medical Laser treatments and Body sculpting procedures.

She is now offering her services as a Nurse Injector highly specializing in Cosmetic Injectables such as Wrinkle Relaxers (Toxin) and Dermal Fillers.  Her goal is to provide aesthetically-pleasing outcomes while providing a safe, individualized and client-centered treatment.  Her specialty is to build a face-plan to provide the most natural-looking results while enhancing your natural beauty.
